As you check out the tempting selection of organic products up and down our grocery aisles, feel free to grab any jar or box and read the label thoroughly. In fact, we encourage it! Whether it's a salad dressing or a bag of nuts, a product must meet our exacting standards or we simply won't carry it. We stock all of the top name organic brands, but we really love offering the many unique and top quality products our small scale local and Australian producers supply. And, of course, if we don't have something you want just let us know and we'll get it for you.

Produce

We pride ourselves on our fresh produce and work with local growers and wholesalers to bring you the best seasonal produce throughout the year. We strive to stock only certified organic fruit and vegetables because we believe that to choose organic is to choose health, not only for you and your family, but also for the environment.

At Wild Thyme we encourage seasonal eating. Can you remember the time when we only bought oranges in winter or enjoyed strawberries in summer? Now you can buy nearly everything at any time of the year, but it comes at a price.
Eating food out of season means it travels further, is stored for longer and doesn't always taste great.

Eating seasonal food means that food travels fewer miles, is stored for less time and does not require intensive agriculture.
Buying oranges from Spain and cherries from California, out of the Australian season, doesn't make sense. Not only are fruit and vegetables fresher and better for our health when they are produced at the 'right' time of year, but they are also cheaper as well.

Occasionally, due to seasonal restrictions, we source a few fruit and vegetables from growers who are employing Integrated Pest Management(IPM) farming methods, or farms that are 'in conversion' to full organic status.

Grocery

Whether you are looking for a great breakfast cereal to start the day or an organic free range chicken for dinner, our grocery department has both everyday products and gourmet delights.

Healthy snacks, fruit juices, nuts, seeds and dried fruit. Sweet and savoury biscuits, breads, pastas, jams, oils, vinegars, herbs and spices to temp your palate. We have specialist areas like asian and gluten free, alternative milks - soy, rice, oat and nut and an extensive range of herbal teas and fair trade coffee.

Our dairy section includes the best organic and bio dynamic milks, cheeses and yoghurts from local and Australian dairies.

We also stock a comprehensive range of the latest super foods - Goji berries, Maca powder, Chia Seeds, Blueberries, Pomegranate juice, pure Cacao Beans. As soon as they're available, we get them.

There is a dedicated section of organic baby food and baby care products to pamper our little ones.

We stock a comprehensive range of organic and natural health and beauty products, free from harmful chemical additives. From shampoos to deodorants, shower gels to toothpaste all of your everyday personal care requirements have been taken care of chemical free!

Our skin care and personal care ranges include leading organic and natural brands such as Swiss Wellness, POD, Mi Essence, Trilogy, Al'chemy, A'kin, Kosmea and Zuii natural cosmetics.

Wine

One of the great joys of drinking organic wine is knowing that quality fruit is grown and harvested without chemicals and processed with minimum use of preservatives. Wild Thyme stocks an extensive range of organic, biodynamic and preservative free wines and beers. Our wines are sourced from Australia's best boutique vignerons, principally here in South Australia, and are produced following organic and biodynamic principles without compromising their exceptional flavour.
